Most campers ride an average of 3 to 4 horses each day and…
1. Ride in 4 Different Scenarios:
ssssssA. Instructor led Riding Lessons- for Proper Technique
ssssssB. Hop-on-Hop-off – try various Horses & Saddles
ssssssC. Bareback Riding- for Balance
ssssssD. Trail Riding- Shady, cool fun-

2. Ride on 4 Different Terrains:
A. Large Sand Arena
B. Round pen, small arena
C. Grass field with X-country obstacles
D. Tree lined nature trail
3. Learn Safety around the Barn including:
- Leading & handling a horse from the ground
- Horse & hoof care, Grooming & Tacking
- How to Lunge a horse
- Scavenger Hunts, arts & crafts about horses & behaviors

4. Our Horses are experienced!
- Most have been in our camp program for over a decade or more
- They live here year round- they are loving pets :)
- They give riding lessons on the weekends during the year

5. Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Riders come to Camp:
- Lessons are separated by age & experience
- Beginners have extra assistance w/ Jr counselors on the ground
- Team games on horses are geared to all levels (walk, trot or canter)
- Jump/canter lessons are tested into by skill
- Trail rides are beginner level & guided
Monday – Friday throughout June & July (8:00 am to 3:00 pm)
We are OPEN 4th of July & Memorial Day
COST is: $450 per week – Ages 7 to 15 years old
~~Earlier drop off available every week at no charge starting at 7:15 am (reservations required).
~~ No after camp hours available. Pick-up is 3 PM
Mornings: Daily riding lessons, practice rides, trail rides or games on horseback. Plus ground safety & handling, grooming, tacking and care
Afternoons: Horse bathing, feeding, untacking English & Western, hoof care, horse health lessons, water play & more
